"Harry Hare" will be part of the GoGoCreate Leveret Trail in Norwich

Well done to everyone that sent in an entry and a big thank you to Adrian for helping to select the winners and to our wonderful artist Mik Richardson.
- Paul Williams, Club President

North Norfolk’s premier rugby club teamed up with the local children’s charity Break and purchased a GoGoHare sculpture for its club members to design.
Peter King, a mini’s coach at Holt rugby club, who helped coordinate the event said: “We want our young people to show some imagination and help bring our sculpture to life by devising a design that reflects the values of rugby and of our club.”
“The sky’s the limit and we’d encourage all our members to tap into their imagination and come back with some creative, brain buzzing ideas and suggestions.”
The winning designs were submitted by the Hall family, the Kidd Edwards and Alfie B. Ella F also had a special mention for her design by the judging panel made up of Adrian Hill of Adrian Hill Fine Art and the club president Paul Williams.
Commenting after the awards, Paul Williams added: “We wanted to create an event that all generations across the club could engage in and enjoy.”
“Well done to everyone that sent in an entry and a big thank you to Adrian for helping to select the winners and to our wonderful artist Mik Richardson.”
“It was fantastic to watch the children get stuck in and paint our hare and I was especially impressed how Mik was able to incorporate so many of the different ideas from our winning entries.” Click here to view photo's of the children painting the hare.
Holt’s very own Harry Hare will be part of the GoGoCreate Leveret Trail in Norwich that kicks off at the beginning of July and runs until the start of the rugby season in September.
** Please note that our leveret sculpture will be on display in the Dining Terrace in INTU Chapelfield, Norwich NR1 3SH**
