Holt U15's Tour

Holt RFC has a proud tradition of hosting touring teams either via the Kingswood mini's Festival or independently throughout the age groups. This provides an opportunity for our teams to play against new opposition and make new rugby contacts.
Whether you are an England international, British and Irish Lion or an occasional player for a local side, young or old, going on tour is a fantastic way to build team spirit, morale and identity. It provides a rare and exciting opportunity for players and coaches to get to know each other that little bit better and helps to build teamwork both on and off the pitch. Tours often provide memories and friendships that will last a lifetime; the camaraderie and banter can be second to none. A tour is important for development, as an opportunity to try new things in a different environment, have fun and relax after a long season.
Holt U15's just like the British and Irish Lions, will be taking on the challenge of touring this year. Although the U15's will not be going quite so far, they will be flying down to Exeter.
As with many touring teams they have as in previous years decided on a theme. This year the U15's will be touring as Holkham Keepers. Over the weekend the boys will be keeping to the sporting theme by taking part in Sea Fishing, Clayzer Shooting and Coasteering. Outside of these activities they will attend a professional game at Sandy Park - Exeter Chiefs v Northampton Saints. The final activity for tour will see them take on the Devon County Champions - Topsham RFC before returning to Holt on Monday afternoon.
The U15's are proud to represent Holt RFC on tour and look forward to an action packed weekend.
