Colts will play in the same branded kit as all other senior sides.

From Peter D'Amery, Holt RFC Head Colts Coach:

The Club have secured a deal with the main club sponsor Bakers and Larners that will see the Colts play in the same branded kit as all other senior sides. The Colts at Holt RFC are considered as the senior side in Youth Rugby and therefore treated in the same way as other senior sides. The Kit deal covers Shirts, Shorts and Socks - all branded with the distinctive Bakers and Larners logo.
The Team are delighted with the new arrangement and are extremely grateful to Bakers and Larners.
However this is not only about a new kit, it is a whole new philosophy of supporting Colts Rugby at Holt RFC. For far too many years Clubs have taken too little notice of a Colts set up as a whole unless senior teams need a few players to bolster sides. The previous approach is great for the few players who are capable of withstanding the physical aspects of playing with adults but what happens to the rest of the players?
Colts teams do not have enough strength and depth to field a meaningful squad that can compete. As a result they become disillusioned and are lost to the game. At Holt we are trying to break the cycle and actively encourage players to stick with Colts Rugby - after all it’s the team their mates play for and the social group they have grown in the sport with. This being said we understand that on occasion a player might be exceptional and we are not discouraging or delaying individual development.
Colts are the side all junior players should aspire to play for and as this philosophy embeds itself all senior sides will benefit. More players will stay in the game, develop at the appropriate rate and enjoy playing with friends from across the age ranges as they move into adult rugby.
