This vacancy has now been filled.

Update: This vacancy has now been filled, subject to AGM approval. We welcome the experience of Kaff Booty to our volunteer team.

As you can appreciate clubs like Holt Rugby Club rely wholly on volunteers to function. We are at a critical moment in time in our club whereby, due to our fantastic growth and success, we are in need of urgent help.

The role of Treasurer has been more than ably undertaken temporarily over this past year by Ali Gibson, our Commercial Director. Now Holt Rugby Club are seeking to appoint a new Honorary Treasurer, who will report to our Commercial Director. This is not the same role it used to be historically; some responsibilities have been reapportioned so it is a much slimmed down version, but none the less it is a vital position to assist in the smooth running of our Club.

The main responsibilities of the Treasurer will include paying Club bills, issuing invoices, handling cash, processing monthly payroll, preparing quarterly VAT returns, recording the information in an appropriate and timely manner, and keeping up to date records of all financial transactions.

Ideally the Treasurer should: be methodical & well organised, be able to allocate a few hours every week to maintain the Club's books & records, work with accuracy & honesty, be in a position to use or be trained on modern software, and be numerate.

We understand that many people lead extremely busy lives, but if you are someone who can spare the time each week to help us in this role, you have the attributes required, and you would like to know more about what is involved, then please contact our Commercial Director Ali Gibson.

For more information about how our club is managed and the welcome you would receive, please read the article on this link.

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.
