Yorkshire lad Zander joins Holt Rugby Club

We're delighted to welcome Zander Metcalfe as a new player to our rugby club.

Zander comes from a farming family in North Yorkshire and started playing rugby aged 10 at Darlington RFC. He continued to play rugby at Yarm School and then at Newcastle University, where he played for both the Newcastle Agrics RFC and the University RFC. He has been playing the previous 4 seasons at Northallerton RUFC. He nows works for Brown & Co & we are very happy that he has chosen to join Holt RFC. He tells us that he is now enjoying getting to grips with the strong social ethic of the club!
