Thank you to Iain MacBrayne for this match report:
Holt's push for promotion suffered a setback at West Norfolk who put in a strong second-half performance.
Holt started with confidence and were soon ten points ahead through a Bruce van Poortvliet try converted from the touch-line by James Wyatt who then added a well struck penalty. Although West incurred a high penalty count they defended well for the rest of the half and just before the turn-around the elusive Sam Moses darted over for a try and his conversion made the score 7 - 10.
West had the better of the second half and were soon level with a Moses penalty. Thereafter the home side grew in confidence which resulted in a further try for Moses which was unconverted and a try for Jacob Chapman converted by Moses who scored his side's final points with a penalty. In response James Wyatt converted his second penalty for Holt and Henry Flower touched down for an unconverted try just before the final whistle.
The Norfolk Brewhouse 'Man of the Match' for Holt was scrum-half Bruce van Poortvliet.
