For the second time this season Fakenham overhauled a Holt lead with a strong rally in the last quarter of the game.
Fakenham took an early advantage with a try by Josh Gee. Holt responded with a penalty from James Wyatt and a try by Ashley Woods.
A try by Fakenham's Tom Bane-Young converted by Lloyd Marshall made it 8 -12 before Bruce van Poortvliet put away Henry Flower for an unconverted try to make the score 13-12 at half time.
Holt started the second half strongly with another penalty by James Wyatt who then converted a try by Robbie Batley, for a 23-12 lead.
At this point Fakenham came back strongly and exposed the Holt defence with three well worked tries from their winger, Murray Tindall, all of which were converted by Lloyd Marshall. Holt could only manage a a third penalty by James Wyatt.
As a result Fakenham gained five points and Holt one which sees them drop to third place with only two games to go.
The Norfolk Brewhouse man of the match for Holt was Henry Harrison.
