Our favourite day of the week is finally here once again!
It’s Round 10 for our 1st XV as they take the trip down the M11 to Woodford Rugby Club. The forecast is wet all morning then dry just in time for the 2.30pm kick off - so packing my wellies and my flippin loud voice! Woodford have had a really strong start to the season and sit in 3rd place in the league, so this is a big challenge to rise to for our travelling players. We are on a roll, we can do it.
Also this afternoon our 2nd XV make the much shorter trip to Norwich RFC for their 2pm kick off and our 3’s host Watton RFC at Bridge Road, again at 2pm.
So we've got 3 big games for our senior sides.
After outstanding numbers at training this week there were lots of discussions. A couple of injuries give opportunities for new players to make their name in the selections.
Congratulations to all that have been selected and are pulling on a Holt shirt this weekend! But I'd personally like to say a particular thank you to Charlie Cowling and Jakob Coe, both selected to play today, but who both kindly volunteered to help yesterday afternoon/evening at the Holt Lights Park & Ride; really appreciated.
We can’t wait to see you all on the side lines cheering the lads on at whatever game you’re planning to watch.
