Thank you firstly to Photographer Adam Pryke for coming along for the 2nd Sunday to take photos. To ensure compliance, that photos were only taken where consent had been given by both teams (many we didn't hear back from or no consent was given for photos to be taken), Adam concentrated this week on the older teams - the under 12's playing on pitches 1 & 2. "A lovely bright morning turned out to be a lovely sunny day at Holt RFC for the second part of the Kingswood Festival.

88 teams, with a total of 870 children came to Bridge Road from South Yorkshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedford, Northampton, Lincolnshire, Nottingham, Leicestershire, Rutland, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk for a great day of minis festival rugby.

A big shout out to all the volunteers that helped make today happen, over 700 cars parked, countless burgers, sausages, chips...sold. We had some great help from the junior section today, providing food and drinks from the BBQ and tea van. The cake stall and tuck shop also had a good day, and thank you to those that took control on these stalls. My last thank you is to everyone that helped in and around the bar and kitchen, a great job done by all.

The Kingswood festival is always a good days rugby for the children and it is a privilege to work with all of the clubs that came along, our staff and of course all of the volunteers that came forward, stepped up and helped me through this".
