On a lovely crisp sunny Norfolk afternoon on Saturday 02nd April last year, Bridge Road hosted the Henry Hill Barbarians who lined up against a Holt XV.
Tragically Henry passed away earlier last year following a heroic fight against Cancer. His family kindly gave permission for that game to take place in honour of a young man who always wore a smile on his face, kept a great supply of humour in his mouth and loved his rugby.
The Barbarians team was made up from Henry’s friends from his playing days, and this fixture is being played again this year, on Saturday 26th August.
We thank everyone involved in advance of the day for helping to make this event happen, in memory of a truly lovely young man.
We would welcome as much support as possible.
