Thank you to everyone who helped.

Saturday 30th April saw the youth & mini section of Holt RFC take to the field as they entertained Kettering RFC in the morning, followed by Loughborough RFC Vets playing the Mighty Tertians in the afternoon (pictured).

Kettering brought around 170 players from U7s to U16s. The minis section (U7s-U12s) started at 10.30am with the U13s & U14s kicking off at 11am. There were some very strong performances from Kettering across all age groups, and it was good to see the Holt teams battling against their opponents. The U15s and U16s then took centre stage at 1pm and fought hard against some well organised and physical sides.

Photos can be found by looking in the media section.

It was good to see all players having a great time and lots of supporters watching rugby being played in the manner it should be.

Thank you to Helen Brooks (tour organiser) and Kettering RFC for coming to Holt RFC, we hope you all had a good day and enjoy the rest of your tour.

Lastly, I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped at the club, car parking, kitchen, glass collecting…without you, yesterday wouldn’t have happened!

Now it’s time to focus on the Kingswood festivals on the 7th & 14th April. If anyone is available to help (car park, BBQ, glass collecting, litter picking…) please contact Martin Watts by email or 07741252618.
