We send our deepest condolences

It is with great sadness that Holt RFC would like to report that one of their beloved members Ralph Pointer passed away peacefully at home recently.

Ralph was a prominent member on the playing side of the club from the mid-60's. With his “Roy Orbison" look, he was Vice Captain of the Owls in the 1971-72 season and also vice-captain of the wanderers 1974-75.

A great club tourist and team selector and, along side his wife Carol, Ralph was very much involved in the social scene of the club.

Ralph was an infectious character, extremely popular with his peers. He remained very much attached to the club and took a keen interest in its development.

A farmer and field sportsman, Ralph will be very much missed by all who were privileged to know him. On behalf of the club, we send our deepest condolences to Carol, Tony, Sarah, and their families.
