Nice to get this re-arranged game played, and in dry, if not windy (although nothing compared to last month)conditions. Early encounters were quite even, with a strong defence shown by both sides. The deadlock was broken after 10 mins with a score from the forwards out wide. The conversion drifted wide, but given the windy conditions, this was a sign of things to come in the kicking department today. A second forwards try followed, with the backs getting in on the action as half time loomed, 0-15 at half time. Changes made, the second continued in a similar pattern to the first, with strong forward play, and a short range snipe round the corner by our 9 to score near the corner - 0-20. More good handling, allowed the backs to flourish against a tiring home side, seeing them rack up 3 late tries. Final score 0-35 and onto our final cup game against Wymondham next week.
